The Plains Vintage Railway and Historical Museum provides visitors with a unique journey into the past. Wander through our pioneer village, complete with church and fire-station or take a ride on one of our three Steam Locomotives, that date from the 1800's through to the 1950's, and includes the famous 'Rogers 'K' 88'. Our first ever railfans day on Saturday October 22 went down well with the ethusiasts out there, with the double headed trips prooving very popular. Our next public running is on Sunday November 13th from 11am til 4pm with Rogers K 88, with the Tinwald Domain right alongside us a visit to The Plains makes for a great family day out.
