All-round genuine legend – Mike Ross

A great article in today’s local community newspaper – The Ashburton Courier – on founding member Mike Ross. An all-round genuine legend who always has the society’s best interests at heart and is proud of the continued efforts by the dedicated team of volunteers maintaining and operating the assets of our Society.

Souvenir Shop

Located in our Railway Station is the Shop where Train Tickets are purchased, along with a great variety of Souvenirs for you to take home as a memento of your Visit. From Badges, Books, Photo-cards, Dvd’s to Train Bubbles, there’s something for enthusiasts of all ages! Also stocked, is a range of Ice Creams, Cold Drinks and Snacks. All the proceeds from the Shops Sales go back into funding maintenance, restoration projects – in all areas of the site, so your support is greatly appreciated.

Events Diary

Members will be attending the Wheat & Wheels Rally with exhibits – Wooden Mill, McLaren Traction Engine, Vintage Tractors & Stationary Engines – participating in this 2 day Event. Exhibitors come from all around the District, you won’t want to miss this huge display of Vintage & Modern Machinery, working displays and much more over the weekend of Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April 2024

You can find us at 20 Maronan Road, Tinwald, Ashburton, which is beside the Tinwald Domain, where there is plenty of parking available.
